Firefighter / EMT Trainee - Job Information
Las Venturas Fire & Rescue is seeking motivated individuals to join our ranks as Firefighter / EMT Trainees. This is an entry-level position that combines fire suppression, emergency medical services, and community protection. Successful applicants will complete the LVFR Recruit Academy and serve as probationary firefighters under supervision.
Responsibilities include:
• Responding to fire, rescue, and medical emergencies
• Providing patient care as an EMT
• Operating fire and EMS equipment safely and effectively
• Participating in drills, training, and physical fitness programs
• Assisting in fire prevention, inspections, and community outreach
Minimum Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have valid identification
• Must pass background check and interview
• Must be able to complete recruit academy and probationary training
• No prior experience required – training provided
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior EMS, fire service, or military experience
• Current CPR or EMT certifications
